In this example, the Historic Site is Fisk University in Nashville TN. To visit Fisk, a challenge should be completed. The entire team can work on the challenge.

Challenge: Education

Fisk University played a pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement as a hub for Black intellectualism and activism. In the 1960s, students from Fisk, iwere instrumental in organizing sit-ins, Freedom Rides, and protests that challenged segregation in Nashville and beyond.

 A Legacy of Resistance & Change! 

From leading Nashville sit-ins to shaping Civil Rights icons like Diane Nash & John Lewis, Fisk students stood on the front lines for justice. Their fight then fuels our progress now—honor their courage, continue the movement!  #CivilRightsLegacy #BlackExcellence

Challenge: Reflection

If I was Fisk student during the sit-in movement, I would

have participated in the non-violent protest training and join my fellow students at the counter at Woolworths in downtown Nashville.

Fisk stands tall, with voices bold,
Breaking chains, defying the old.
Marching strong, with wisdom bright,
Turning struggle into light.
